- Access: to all conference activities starting 12:30 on Friday March 1st and ending 12:00 Sunday March 3rd
- Keynote Address: Jennifer Psyllakis, Director, Wildlife and Habitat, Ministry of Forest, Lands, Natural resource Operations & Rural Development. “Insight & Vision: Navigating a Career in Natural Resource Natural Resource Management”. Jennifer will provide perspectives on the past and future of our profession, our society, and wildlife management in our province.
- Panel Discussion with question and answer session: “What everyone ought to know about British Columbia’s developing Species-at-Risk legislation” An invited panel of Species-at-Risk experts from will discuss BCs developing legislation.
- Invited Presentations: On current provincial mandates relevant to BC wildlife management
- Contributed Presentations: In standard 15 min., poster, and 5 min. “rapid” formats (*To submit an abstract visit www.bctws.ca/2019conference.html. Deadline is Jan 30, 2019)
- Welcome Social: Friday March 1st; poster session, Hors d'oeuvres, host and no-host bar
- Buffet Lunch: Included in registration Saturday March 2nd
- Networking Breaks: will be provided throughout the conference, coffee, drinks, snacks provided
- Evening Socials: No-host gatherings at a nearby pub to continue relationship building (location TBD)
